Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Myzan platform ("Service"), a product operated by Babel LLC, registered in the State of Wyoming, USA ("Company", "we", "us"). By using the Service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

This is a draft for launch and has not yet been legally reviewed. It may change before it is finalized.

1. Definitions

  • "Service": the Myzan platform for managing finishing projects, including the website, application, client portal, and PDF reports.
  • "User": the engineer or business that creates an account and uses the Service.
  • "Client": a party with whom a User shares a read-only project portal via link.
  • "Content": all data you enter into the Service (projects, expenses, clients, vendors, and so on).

2. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter contracts. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Information you provide at registration must be accurate, complete, and current.

3. Plans, Trial & Billing

The Service is offered via a free plan and paid plans. Some accounts begin with a time-limited free trial of paid features; when it ends, the account moves to the free plan unless you subscribe to a paid plan.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown and charged in Egyptian Pounds (EGP). Please note that the charge and its receipt will appear under the name "Babel LLC" — the operator of Myzan — not "Myzan". You authorize us to charge the recurring fee for your plan automatically until cancellation.

Prices are shown in Egyptian Pounds and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. If this changes in future, we will make it clear on the pricing page and on your invoice.

4. Auto-Renewal & Pricing

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual) at the same price unless you cancel before the renewal date. If you subscribed at a locked launch price, that price stays fixed as long as your subscription remains active without a lapse; if you cancel and later resubscribe, the standard price at that time applies.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period and does not renew thereafter.

As a general rule, fees paid for a current period are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law — including consumer rights in the Arab Republic of Egypt under Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018. If you are charged in error or twice, contact us within 14 days and we will correct it. 「Finalize a definitive refund policy with counsel: window, pro-rated or not.」

If a payment fails, we provide a grace period before downgrading the plan to free. Your data is not deleted on downgrade, but some features may become read-only.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Without limitation, you must not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or other users' accounts.
  • Upload content that infringes others' rights or contains malware.
  • Resell the Service or abuse resources in a way that harms its stability.

7. Your Content & Ownership

You own your Content. You grant us a limited license to host and process your Content solely to the extent necessary to operate and provide the Service to you. We do not sell your Content. You may export your data or request its deletion in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

8. Client Portal

The Service lets you share a read-only financial view of a project with your Client via link. You are responsible for the decision to share and with whom. The portal is designed to hide sensitive vendor data (such as contractor/supplier names and their prices) from the Client, but you remain in control of what you display.

9. Availability & Disclaimer

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We may perform maintenance or updates that cause temporary interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages, and its total liability shall not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event. This clause does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights granted by law.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within a reasonable period before it is deleted per our retention policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without prejudice to the mandatory rights afforded to consumers residing in the Arab Republic of Egypt or other countries under their applicable local laws. 「Finalize the dispute-resolution mechanism (arbitration/jurisdiction) with counsel.」

13. Changes & Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the Service or email. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance. For any legal inquiry, contact us at hello@myzan.co.
